Since its inception, the Computer Society has successfully launched a wide range of events, aimed at fostering and enhancing technological interests among students. Driven by the mission to ignite a passion for technology, the Computer Society goes beyond organizing events. It also offers various workshops, hands-on sessions, and coding competitions to provide students with valuable practical experience. CS WIC COORDINATOR

WIC (Women in Computing): Empowering Women in Tech

WIC (Women in Computing coordinator) is a significant position within CS Computer Society, held by a dedicated member who spearheads initiatives focused on empowering women in the field of technology. WIC works towards creating an inclusive environment and organizing events and activities that promote the participation and success of women in tech-related endeavours.

Some of the notable events organized by the WIC position holder include "Wicrypto", an engaging Cipher decoding competition, and "Womeniz," a quiz competition exclusively for girls. Additionally, WIC conducts monthly workshops and talk sessions, "SheCodes," which are designed exclusively for girls and provide opportunities to learn and explore different aspects of technology.

AI SIG (Artificial Intelligence Special Interest Group): Advancing AI Education and Engagement

AI SIG (Artificial Intelligence Special Interest Group) is an integral position within CS Computer Society, filled by a passionate member who leads initiatives focused on advancing AI education and fostering engagement among students. AI SIG organizes various events and activities to support learning and promote awareness about artificial intelligence.

Under the guidance of the AI SIG coordinator, events like "Codeblock.py" are conducted, which provide hands-on coding sessions to help students learn Python programming in the context of AI. Additionally, AI SIG releases a weekly AI newsletter that features the latest news, updates, and advancements in the field of artificial intelligence, keeping students informed and connected with the latest trends.

The AI SIG coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating AI-focused discussions, workshops, and activities within the CS Computer Society.
