Laboratories

The Department has seven full-fledged Computer Labs. All machines are connected to the Internet via leased line with a bandwidth of 70 Mbps.

Deep learning Lab

The Lab is equipped with 30 HP-285 Pro G8 Microtower PC (AMD Rayzen 5-5600 processor with 8GB DDR4 RAM, 512 GB SSD). The lab is utilized for conducting laboratory experiments in the area of machine learning and deep learning for the students. Deep learning has become an increasingly important part of Artificial intelligence and with the accelerated penetration of use witnessed in business and research.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) Lab

The AI & ML lab is equipped with 35 numbers of desktop machines with Intel I5 Processor. The machines are dual boot, supporting both Windows and Linux Operating System. The lab is utilized for conducting Machine Learning Lab, Mini project and Final year projects of B.Tech AI & ML programme.

Programming Lab

This lab is equipped with Intel i3 machines with 8 GB RAM & 256 SSD. The machines are dual boot supporting both Windows and Linux Operating System. The lab is utilized for conducting Python Programming, C Programming, Free and Open Source Software and Data Structures Laboratory courses.

Database Lab

The lab is equipped with 36 machines of latest configuration connected to the server. The recent developments include installation of software to handle language lab along with audio headsets. All the machines are internally networked. This lab is specialized for handling courses on Database and Network programming

Advanced Systems Lab

This laboratory focuses on training students in hands-on development in computer systems with emphasis on system near software. The lab is equipped with state of the art servers, desktops (Intel Core i3 processors 4GB DDR3 RAM and 1 TB HDD) and various software like Python, OpenGL, JAVA etc. to train the students in programming and development. This lab provides the infrastructure for conducting the regular laboratory courses in Compiler Design, System Software, Computer Graphics, etc. and project works for the B.Tech programme. The students learn to design various system softwares, solve various real world problems using object oriented concepts, design and implement graph algorithms, demonstrate their working with graphical simulation and design and execute programs for computer graphics animation.

Hardware Lab

This lab has been set up to familiarize the students in electronic circuits, digital electronics, microprocessor, microcontroller and interfacing courses. The electronics ircuits lab explores the design and construction of analog electronics circuits. Digital electronics introduces the principles and applications of digital systems. The lab introduces experiments like the operation of basic logic gates and design of combinational and sequential circuits. The lab has 8086 microprocessor kits, 8051 microcontroller kits and various interfacing cards to expertise the students in assembly language programming and interfacing. The lab is also equipped with 15 computers to do 8086 programming using MASM.

PG Software Lab

The Lab is equipped with 25 HP-8200 Elite Micro Tower (Core i7) with 2GB RAM) computers and one HPE ProLiant ML 3G (Xeon Processor with 32 GB RAM) server. The lab is utilized for conducting laboratory experiments, Mini project and Thesis work for M.Tech students.
