Dr. C. Sathish Kumar

Dr. C. Sathish Kumar served as the Principal of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Kottayam and Government Engineering College Idukki, each for 2 years. He has experience of more than 32 years as faculty in Government Engineering Colleges in the state. He received B.Tech. degree in Electronics & Communication Engg. from TKM College of Engineering Kollam and M.Tech. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He received his Ph.D. degree from PSG College of Technology Coimbatore, under Bharathiar University. He served as the Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Chairman of Board of Studies (PG) in University of Calicut. Dr Sathish was member of the Syndicate and the Board of Governors of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram during 2021-23. He officiated also as the member of Academic Council and Convenor of Syndicate Standing Committee on Examinations in APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. He was a Senate Member of Cochin University of Science and Technology during 2021-23. He has guided two research scholars for their Ph.D. degree. He has more than 40 research publications which include 10 SCIE and 2 Scopus research papers. He has acquired around 38 lakhs for the institutions through sponsored projects from various agencies. He has organised two national conferences. He is the reviewer of six SCIE international journals. He has served as Ph.D. examiner of Anna University Chennai, Pondicherry University, and University of Kerala.
